Today, alongside Prime Minister @kristerssonulf , @microsoft announced a $3.2B investment to expand cloud and AI infrastructure in Sweden. This announcement goes beyond technology; it’s a commitment to ensuring broad access to the tools and skills needed for Sweden’s people and economy to thrive in the #ai era.

During the Choose France summit, @Microsoft announced a historic €4 billion investment in France—the largest in the country’s history—to boost AI and cloud technology adoption. This investment includes:   ⚙️ Expanding datacenter infrastructure in Paris, Marseille, and Mulhouse.   🎓 Skilling 1 million people in AI, targeting job seekers, students, small and midsize businesses.   🚀 Supporting 2,500 AI startups through the Microsoft GenAI Studio, which provides AI expertise, cloud credits, and support activities.

Microsoft’s $3.3B investment in Wisconsin is about using the power of AI to fuel the future of manufacturing companies, workforce, and skills training across the state and around the country.

I was pleased and honored to return to my home state of Wisconsin to announce that @microsoft is investing $3.3 billion in Racine County between now and 2026 to build an advanced Cloud and AI data center campus. We’re putting our resources, scale, and expertise to work to create new jobs, train people with AI skills, and advance an AI-powered future across Wisconsin and beyond. We’re also investing to create the country’s first manufacturing-focused AI co-innovation lab with the @uwmilwaukee and @titletowntechgb , and will bring AI skills training to more than 100,000 people in partnership with the @unitedwayracinecounty and the State of Wisconsin. While this isn’t the only data center that Microsoft is building, I must admit it’s one of my favorites. From the age of nine to 14, I lived with my family just down the road from where it’s being built. I attended Racine Public Schools and I know how special this community is. Without its support, we wouldn’t have been able to get this project off the ground. This project is proof that a big company like Microsoft can build a strong foundation to support every business and nonprofit everywhere. It is also a great reminder that we are a country where people can come together, work together, address hard challenges, and we get great things done. We are excited to be on this journey together with @potus Joe Biden and the people of Wisconsin.

It's young leaders like @nationalffa Organization @nffapresident Amara Jackson and @nffaevp Morgan Anderson who remind me of the importance and potential of rural America. With admiration for them and the many rising leaders who participate in FFA, @microsoft is donating 1,000 laptops and over 4,000 digital accessories to FFA chapters across the country. We want to ensure this next generation of talent has the best digital tools to take us all into the future.

Yves Ubelmann uses AI to construct models of the world’s iconic heritage and ecological sites so detailed they’re true digital twins. I recently caught up with Yves on the canals of Venice to hear what inspired him to start this work and how he collaborates with archaeologists, architects, and even an armchair historian like me.

Inspired by his grandfather’s work to restore war-damaged heritage sites in France, Yves shares how he is using #AI to memorialize the world’s heritage in 3D and raising awareness of the effects of climate change on our planet.
