UN Climate Change High-Level Champion for COP28, Razan Al Mubarak has been appointed the Co-Chair of the Taskforce on Nature-related Financial Disclosures (TNFD). In this role, she will support TNFD's mission to integrate financial and environmental reporting more effectively, as well as empower businesses and financial institutions globally to understand and manage their environmental impacts conscientiously.

تعيين سعادة رزان خليفة المبارك، رائدة الأمم المتحدة للمناخ بمؤتمر الأطراف COP28، كرئيس مشارك لفريق العمل المعني بالإفصاحاتالمالية المتعلقة بالطبيعة (TNFD)، الذي يسعى لمساعدة الشركات والمؤسسات المالية حول العالم على تحسين كفاءة الإفصاحات المالية والبيئية، وتمكينها من فهم والتعامل مع التأثيرات والمخاطر البيئية المتعلقة بأعمالها.
Ambassador Majid Al Suwaidi, COP28 Director-General, participated in a session at the Climate Innovation Forum on “Turning COP28 Commitments into Action”. During the discussion, he highlighted the climate finance gap, the importance of de-risking, and mobilizing private finance into emerging markets and developing economies. He also explained the role of ALTERRA in achieving these goals and the need to move from commitment to implementation on the UAE Consensus.
