Joe versus the Volcano.
Such an interesting film. I love this shot of Meg Ryan in it. The premise is odd but I enjoyed it! A man given a life ending diagnosis and goes on a journey where he will jump into a volcano after receiving a nice financial offer.
Also I love watching movies and finding frames that speak to me. Color. Composition. All of it. Save them. It says a lot about your taste as an artist.

Singing in the rain.
I absolutely love 50s cinema! I think I can’t hide that. There’s something dated yet timeless about it that charms me. A world that feels like the real world but also a place I want to escape to and leave the issues and problems of today behind. A great film for me does that. I enjoy characters that are flawed even down right unlikeable at the start like Kelly’s character. His dynamic with Kathy is brilliant! The more they interact the more you learn about Don and is desires and motivations. It’s fun and entertaining. It’s also a fun insight into the world of Hollywood in the early 20s…going from silent to talkative films. Great stuff.
