A series of free outdoor activations titled ‘Summer in Dublin’ will take place on Sunday afternoons starting this weekend, July 7, until Sunday, August 25 between 4.00-8.00pm. Pop up activations involving street performers and musicians will take place across the city centre at locations from South Ann Street to Drury Street on the southside and Liffey Street, Capel Street, North Earl Street by the Portal, and Wolfe Tone Park on the northside. Dublin City Council Ceol Country is officially launched and what a weekend it’s going to be! Get ready for music from none other than Nathan Carter & Mike Denver along with some more fantastic acts to keep Smithfield Square dancing all weekend! Dublin City Council, in partnership with Glenveagh Homes, will be soon offering the first phase of homes for sale at Oscar Traynor Woods under the Affordable Purchase Scheme. These homes will be available at a reduced price for buyers seeking to purchase a newly built home but need help to bridge the gap between their mortgage and deposit to cover the full price of the home. Phase 1 will be open for applications via our online platform on Tuesday 16th July at 9am and will close Tuesday 6th August at 4pm. The first phase of Oscar Traynor Woods consists of 4 x 3-bedroom houses, 8 x 2-bedroom houses, and 4 x 1-bedroom maisonettes.
