Congrats to Dragon Pit BBQ on becoming the Back-to-Back Greater Racine BBQ Invitational! Thanks to everyone that came out, the amazing BBQ Vendors, the other food vendors, and The Stephen Hull Experience for playing some of the best blues we’ve ever heard!
It’s the 2nd Annual Greater Racine BBQ Invitational to Support Veterans Outreach at the Franksville Craft Beer Garden from today 2-9PM! (Saturday June 29th). Mr Greens BBQ (pictured this morning) will be here with other pit masters to battle 2023 Winner Dragon Pit BBQ for the 2024 title (plus other food is here too!) There will be Live Music 6-9PM w/ The Stephen Hull Experience and the FCBG will have 30+ taps of WI Craft Beer, hard seltzers, wine, Gluten Free & NA Beer, and Sprecher Root Beer for the kids! The BBQ Invitational is supported in part by Visit Racine County and Enjoy Mount Pleasant.
The award-winning Franksville Craft Beer Garden is located minutes south of Oak Creek, north of Kenosha and minutes east of I-94 in Racine County’s Franksville Memorial Park. Extra parking in the Kids Connection Parking area north of the beer garden.
No carry-in alcohol is permitted and is against WI Law. It will be confiscated…all coolers, tumblers, etc are subject to search.
We open the FCBG tonight with heavy hearts in remembrance of Racine County Executive Jonathan Delagrave who passed unexpectedly today. He was instrumental in bringing Franksville Memorial Park into the County Park’s System among his many contributions to the county. Please take a moment to honor him by raising a glass next time you’re at the FCBG.
