During Viva Technology Paris 2024, The Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center showcased 5 UAE tech startups in the Ministry of Economy booth.
Supporting startups in regional and international deals is one of Sheraa’s important mandates, and we will continue to do so, driving innovation and growth every step of the way 🙏🏻✨
I was honored to be selected by Sheraa to attend and participate in one of Europe’s biggest startup gatherings, Viva Technology 2024.
It’s always a privilege to represent the UAE overseas 🇦🇪✨
I had the pleasure of moderating an engaging panel titled ‘The UAE’s Young Trailblazers,’ which explored the efficiency of using youthfulness and authenticity in branding, the importance of failure and making mistakes at the start of one’s journey, and provided valuable advice for starting your own business.
Joining me on the panel were esteemed industry trailblazers: Mouza Al Abbar, Co-founder of Alabbar Enterprises; Maryam Al Mulla, Co-Founder of Restaurant 71 Steak and Grill; and Ahmed Bin Khaled and Malik Bin Khaled, Co-Founders of Mr. Brisket.
This panel was organized by the Sharjah Youth Council under the Federal Youth Authority, as part of Sheraa’s Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2024
Sharjah Youth Council proudly awarded Najla AlMidfa, CEO of Sheraa, with a trophy in recognition of our successful collaboration at the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival 2024.
This gesture isn’t solely in recognition of our accomplishments at SEF, but also as a heartfelt thank you for Sheraa’s unwavering support and guidance throughout the past year, including the hosting of multiple events and gatherings at the Sheraa hubs in AUS and UOS.
We’re excited to continue building youth collaborations, launching programs, and organizing events to empower aspiring entrepreneurs across Sharjah.

The Sharjah Youth Council and Federal Youth Authority had an incredible presence at the Sharjah Entrepreneurship Festival this year! 🚀
We hosted three great panels on balancing career and personal life, the Sharjah entrepreneurship scene, and spotlighting a few of the UAE’s young trailblazers.
We got the chance to meet our new Youth Minister, His Excellency Sultan Al Neyadi, who also gave an inspiring keynote speech at the opening.
Shoutout to the 4 amazing projects with the Federal Youth Authority’s “Done by Youth” seal that had the opportunity to showcase at the festival.

مبادرة "ميلس التغيير لشباب الشارقة" التي نظمها مساحة الخمسين لشباب الشارقة بالتعاون مع مجلس الشارقة للشباب في ارك كافيه الشارقة.
مجلس الشارقة للشباب يسعى لدعم المبادرات والمشاريع التي يقوم بها الشباب في الإمارة، مثل السيدة آريام الكعبي وفريقها. كل الشباب والاطفال المشاركين في هذه المبادرة قدوة حية للشباب الطموح والمبادر، ونتمنى لهم النجاح والتوفيق.

سعدت بمشاركتي في برنامج تمكين الشباب العربي الذي استمر لمدة اسبوع في المملكة العربية السعودية. البرنامج يتضمن ورش عمل تهدف لتمكين الشباب العربي في مجالات عدة وجولات ترفيهية حول اجمل مناطق مدينة الرياض.
تشرفنا ايضا بزيارة ومقابله سعادة سفير دولة الامارات لدى المملكة العربية السعودية الشيخ نهيان بن سيف آل نهيان حيث تبادل الحديث مع الوفد الإماراتي حول المبادرات والتطلعات الشبابية في دولتنا.
اقدم كامل الشكر والتقدير على هذه الفرصة لوزارة الرياضة في المملكة العربية السعودية ووزارة الثقافة والشباب في دولة الامارات العربية المتحدة.
As part of the youth council, we have a vital role in understanding the needs and requirements of the youth in our Emirate.
To that end, we hosted a focus group with individuals from all over the UAE to better understand how we can serve them.
It was a successful event filled with valuable insight. This is only the beginning of many more meetups with the Sharjah youth council.
