“The Art of the Olympics” is on view at Gagosian’s rue de Castiglione and rue de Ponthieu locations in Paris. The two-part group exhibition is organized by Gagosian in association with the Olympic Museum to celebrate the Olympic and Paralympic Games Paris 2024. Ahead of the Games arriving on July 26, Yasmin Meichtry (@yasminemeichtry ), the associate director at the Olympic Foundation for Culture and Heritage, Switzerland, met with Gagosian senior director Serena Cattaneo Adorno (@serenacattaneo ) for “Gagosian Quarterly.” The two discussed the Olympic Games’ long engagement with artists and culture, including the Olympic Museum, commissions, and the collaborative exhibition with the gallery.
