Thank you @miamicurated Zucca is classy, attractive, and with very good Italian food, dishes from Sardinia to Tuscany under the direction of Chef Manuel Garcia. White tablecloths are perfectly starched, the lighting is just right, and a bouquet of white roses graces every table. It’s about quality. You can never go wrong here. The spring menu special is three courses featuring several of their top sellers. Portions are good size, so it’s fun to share and try different specialties as my friend and I did. For our starter we couldn’t choose between crudo di pesce and their riff on caesar salad. I can never pass up a good caesar salad and delicious it was, with grilled baby lettuce with anchovy cram, bread and grana croutons. For entree I opted for the tender and tasty grilled beef tenderloin with Barolo wine and layered potatoes millefeuille that had me craving for more. My friend had the ravioli stuffed with seasonal porcini mushrooms on smoked pecorino cream. They were almost decadent in their richness. Dessert was the gelato of the day. It was richly flavorful and creamy, tough to resist eating the whole thing. The lunch is $39 plus tax and tip. Zucca is located in the Hotel San Michel, 162 Alcazar Avenue, Coral Gables.
