This June, we honor the incredible Cuban-American artist Carmen Herrera. Born in Havana, Cuba, in 1915, Herrera’s striking geometric paintings and sculptures have left an indelible mark on the art world. Her dedication to her craft is a testament to the power of perseverance, as she gained significant recognition later in life. Herrera’s work is celebrated for its vibrant color, precise lines, and minimalist style.
