We have (mostly) recovered from Chicago Pride even if we were at turns sunburned and caught in a torrential downpour.

But queer life exists beyond the boundaries of any one weekend or month, so we're turning to a few of our favorite books: Queer Tidalectics by Emilio Amideo and Sweet Tea by E. Patrick Johnson. One may be a scholarly literature analysis, and the other may be a play, but both are wholly immediate and necessary.
