Xican-a.o.x. Body on PAMMTV
Xican–a.o.x. Body features conceptual, experimental, and pioneering works from the late 1960s to the present using a diverse range of media that enlighten our understanding of Xicanx art and culture. Xican–a.o.x. Body on PAMMTV presents five single channel videos that connect and amplify these creative impulses. Artists Liz Cohen, Frances Salomé España, Justin Favela, Patssi Valdez, and José Villalobos address ideas around performance, car culture and body politics in unique and intergenerational ways.
Xican-a.o.x. Body on PAMMTV will be on view to global audiences through February 16, 2025 via the museum’s online streaming platform.
