A lil delayed because of crazy travel but wanted to say a massive thank you to @julian.charriere and @langenfoundation for the invitation to play my (first) live set as part of the stunning “Controlled Burn” exhibition. I have meticulously composed a 45 min piece for these last few months complied by sound recordings and synthesis as an interpretive piece to “And Beneath it All Flows Liquid fire”- a story about the relationship between humans and fire since beginning of time in 3 phases influenced by The Pyrocene, by Stephan J. Pyne. In a time where fires are running wild all around us in a concerning manner it is important to observe and rethink our relationship to it. Huge mega thanks to @no.pet a huge part of this piece, coming in curating and imagining it together. Thanks also to entire Studio Julian Charrière and particularity Patricia Bondesson Kavanagh for the stream of consciousness. We hope to bring this piece to a place near you soon ❤️🔥
