Travel back in time to one very momentous Carnegie Hall concert in this week’s “If This Hall Could Talk” episode: a 1961 tribute to Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Through this inside look at the star-studded event, you’ll discover the roles that the famous Rat Pack (and many other artists) played in supporting Dr. King and his Southern Christian Leadership Conference at a pivotal moment of inflection and growth for the organization. Hosted by @jessicavosk , the episode features singer @alsoanoperasinger and authors @joneig , Tom Santopietro, @willfriedwald , and @emilie.raymond.169 , as well as members of Carnegie Hall’s Rose Archives and Museum team. What is Jan Murray doing there? He wasn’t an original rat pack member.

We were in the first chairs next to the stage at Harrah’s Lake Tahoe when he appeared there. I have never seen anyone more multitalented than Sammy. He was so close I could almost touch him when he danced across the stage. What a thrill!!!

Most Hollywood actors have done a 180 from these past actors. Not a good 180 either. 😫
