my rrfm residency began this week!! the first episode of my show “Breezing and Surging” is now up. in my lil progressing DJing journey my vision is developing, perhaps thats a neverending process. yet this show is the first tangible expression of it. grateful for and so so happy to share it!!! thanks for the trust

since i’ve spent a considerate time of my life ~ amongst other things ~ studying the physical world of ocean dynamics, this triggered some thoughts about our nature and core being, especially while experiencing and practicing music, arts, events. oceans, seas, tides, the exist in a spectrum of frequencies, just as sound really. its waves. on one side of the spectrum there’s calmer waves, the predictable ones you like to surf on. theyre steady. they serve as a basis, as a beat! theyre to be trusted and there for you. on the other side of the spectrum theres stormy ones. like the northsea near ur dutch houses. its random movement. its turbulent, dynamic, chaotic, wild. now where these two types exist together, there is a whole. its a constantly moving balance. here, synchronization exists. interaction exists. its a mix (!) its freedom. when everything balances out and coexists together, is exactly what i (still rarely tho) experience on dancefloors or when experiencing music. in my mixes i balance these elements like the oceans do. the whole spectrum of it. in my interpretation this goes back to the core of our beings. it makes us connect with ourselves and with others. it’s the most powerful thing to me. breeze. surge. breeze. surge. be happy. be sad. embrace chaos (like bowie said) and the calm (like everyone said) let them coexist together in order to be free and let go. be and the rest will follow. breezing and surging <3
