Nothingness - 2024
Found objects, cotton, recuperated chains
85 x 90 x 65 cm
Beyond a visual dialogue between mediums, this entity is a symbiosis of symbolic dichotomies. Nothingness is a hybrid feeding of paradoxes. Inspired by Nishida Kitarô’s “Logic of Place”, as a ritualistic process urges “emptying oneself” to embrace the other, restoring our haunted “conscience”. Forgetfulness becomes a creative “unification”, sparking a vital force” within the hollowed-out space.
Here, amid tales of forgotten objects and entities, I wish to touch upon traces that provide material for a new form of semiology, seamlessly blending the physical and the conceptual.

Defence Budget I - 2024
Recuperated fabrics and plastic, found objects, chains
60 x 30 x 15 cm
Defence Budget I, is part of a series delving into the weight of foundational myths, exploring how founding narratives intertwine with tales of war and materiality. Here I play with visual contrasts, disrupting the symbolic perception with sometimes tender, sometimes violent touch. This interplay serves as a continued exploration into the intricate interconnections among symbols, materials, and societal constructs.
Moreover, the series Defence Budget emerges as a contemplative inquiry into the fabric of mass-produced reality, a reality woven by multilayered symbolic elements.

Mythes Fondateurs - 2024
Métal, recuperated fabrics and thread, found objects, cotton
180 x 170 x 30 cm
Mythes Fondateurs exists as an interplay between abstraction and narrative. Comprising layered transparent fabrics, its symbolism unfolds in levels. With almost abstract landscapes, suggesting elements of war or a celestial expanse, and symbols of knights and magic, this work delves into the weight of foundational myths, exploring how founding narratives intertwine with tales of war and suffering. I wish to investigate how these stories shape our identities and can be reexamined through alternative symbolisms—symbolisms introduced by the objects we are surrounded, as well as feminist art mediums like embroidery.

Palais Idéal - 2023
Metal, found objects, recuperated thread, pencil on paper
44 x 32 x 28 cm
My Palais Idéal is a paradigm shift that wishes to transcend the confines of the Capitalocene, and to embrace the ethos of feminism. This miniaturised construct plays with metaphors for the elemental structure of societal frameworks; to envision a soft place, not of opulence, but of transformative ideals, where individual voices are woven into the multilayered fabric of storytelling. It is a call to question established norms, to foster a space where our foundations are reconceived, with thinkers like Raquel Gutiérrez and characters like Princess Mononoke.

Children of the Inbetween
Children of globalisation play with existence.
In the uterus, our ancestral origins merge and symbiose. As I learn about the primordial cells fertilising each other, co-creating a new entity, I ask myself if we meet, dance and collaborate in the same way with space, matter and species.
An intuitive playground appears during the creative process, where contradictions live freely and borders fade. There, a sympoietic system emerges, a system where entities, material and non material, engage in mutualistic relationships, and co-create shared realities...
Children of the playground invoke sympoiesis.
This in-between becomes a ritual where the internal and external realms of the children converge... There opposite worlds synapse in rhythmic pulse... And primitive and contemporary enchant each other.
Matters, allegories, beings, interact and shape one another, intuitively raising questions and quests.
Children of the in-between vibrate in cymatics and the borders of reality expand.

Angels Live Forever - 2023
Installation, recuperated fabrics, recuperated plastics, found objects, scaffolding, audio, 3D modelling
4 x 4 m
Angels Live Forever stands as a vibrant manifesto celebrating the power of Assemblages. In this environment, boundaries that separate beings dissolve. We are drawn into a symbiotic dance of metamorphosis, intertwining our bodies with the space and the Multispecies. This installation takes form in the tension between opposite mediums and textures, delving into sound pollution and symphony of jungles and oceans. Here we shed the confines of our skin, consciously playing String Figures with the myriad of entities that exist both within and beyond ourselves.
