Day Two of HRR saw the return of the greats the the River Thames, the single sculls events, the Island Challenge Cup and Mahiki Wednesdays.
The first two days of Henley are iconic, both for those that just wanted to qualify and race a round, and those who have their eyes set firmly later on in the week. However, tonight we cross the first of these three lines, tomorrow sees the event take on a new level, with the pressure building and many seeded crews taking to the water for the first time in events such as the Prince Philip, Wargrave and Island.

Was great seeing so many international crews racing today at Reading Town Regatta, as well as a great showing from local clubs from across the Thames Valley Region.

With the last few crews running down the track as we speak, this year’s Henley Qualifiers comes to a close. Henley Royal Regatta saw a record entry this year of 772 crews. Crews of all ages and levels of experience (see last pic and let us know if you recognise them…) took on the booms for the chance to race as part of the main regatta next week.
Qualifiers is brutally competitive with a handful of spots available for the fastest crews on the day. Our photographers have been capturing all the action this afternoon, with 4k race videos also available. Check out the photos and package options over at ALLMARK.ONE.

Finals Day at Henley Women’s Regatta is a showstopper of racing, with this year being nothing but the same. The last day started with Quarter and Semi Finals racing down the track finishing with two awesome Side by Side Battles in the Junior 8+. The day then took a turn for the finals, with high stakes, and many crews now also racing fellow potential HRR finalists in two weeks time, the last twenty six races were a great watch.
Some finals saw what can only be described as domination, the PR3 1x, Championship 4- and Junior 4x- to name a few, with the penultimate race of the day, Junior 8+, again giving us a great spectacle with Headington overturning Hinkseys win from National Schools Regatta one month earlier.
Henley Women’s Regatta is an incredible spectacle for women’s rowing in the UK, and event run by a dedicated team of volunteers and experts in their field, thank you for allowing us to capture the event in our own unique way as always.

The build up Henley is well and truly on, with the last pre qualifying event. Marlow Regatta was well and truly an event with record breaking speed, with Oxford Brookes doing a time of 5:30.5. Crews required to qualify for Henley Royal Regatta come out tomorrow.

The Henley Regatta Season kicks off in 2024 with day one of Henley Women’s Regatta. Morning packed with time trials followed by an afternoon to cut down some of the larger categories, sets the stage before further racing tomorrow and Sunday.

AllMarkOne recently went out with the team at ULBC in this final build up to Henley Royal Regatta, with this weekends racing at Henley Women’s and Marlow Regattas in sight.
With HRR Entry Lists now released, the University of London has crews entered into the Island, Prince Albert and Temple Challenge Cups.
Reading Amateur Regatta, a well known staple of the UK River Regatta calendar ran over the last two days. We saw a huge range of entries, from crews focussing on taking home a win, to those just looking for a bit more river experience in the build up to HWR and HRR in a few days time.
