Diapers are more than just a basic necessity—they’re a gateway to opportunity. Most daycares require a full day’s worth of diapers for children to attend. If a parent doesn’t have enough, they can’t drop their babies off to go to work or a job interview. Baby2Baby provides families with diapers to help parents get back to work and break the cycle of poverty.
Earlier this month, Baby2Baby was on the ground in Albuquerque, New Mexico distributing our Maternal Health & Newborn Supply Kits with @hhsgov to families at the University of New Mexico Hospital. New Mexico has one of the highest maternal mortality rates in the country and this program was designed to combat this tragic reality. When Baby2Baby provides the essential items that mothers and their newborns need after giving birth, it helps to alleviate the enormous stress parents can feel about meeting their children’s most basic needs during such a fragile time.

Baby2Baby is responding to two devastating fires currently raging in New Mexico. The South Fork and Salt fires are 0% contained and causing urgent evacuations for vulnerable families.
