TITLE IX AWARD TO SELENA WILLIAMS The @inspiringchildren Foundation is extremely proud of alumni @selenajoetwilliams who was awarded the #TitleIX award by the @lvaces . Selena has been a part of the @noquittennis Academy and @inspiringchildren Foundation since she was a youth, and has continued to flourish at @brownu , is a @gatesfoundation scholar, and earned a prestigious internship with the CEO at @amazon robotics. Selena has been a leader in our Transitional homes, helping to guide and mentor her peers. She also was a strong member of our #TeamBryan and #JewelNeverBroken programs, and greatly benefited from mentoring and leadership from @jewel , @mikcbryan and @bryanbros . Selena is an exceptional young woman, committed to being her best self, and taking on the often difficult inner work necessary to achieve this goal. We had an incredible evening celebrating Selena and recognizing other leaders with singer @rachelplatten and an amazing team of supporters. We congratulate you Selena for this recognition and know you will continue to thrive while doing what’s right.

My "Papa Joe" fought a fantastic fight against Alzheimer's Disease. No matter what, he NEVER forgot the Brown University Fight Song. It always amazed me how he couldn't always find certain words or names, but he, without a doubt, knew every word to the song of his Alma mater. Music is so powerful! Let this be your reminder to turn up the volume, sing with family and friends, and of course, dance. Ask your parents or grandparents what their favorite songs were from their past and bring them back into your lives.
