Traditional Tattoo Artist Jessi Hildebrandt is Speaking Out!
Jessi Hildebrandt (they/them) has been a tattoo artist for a little over three years in Seattle, Washington. Hildebrandt recently shared their story about the abuse they went through growing up in the Mormon church, but specifically the abuse and isolation they encountered with their aunt, Jodi Hildebrandt.
“Something I would love to leave on is just a message of hope. There is healing available; there are people who will love you and accept you. There are communities around you that are wanting you. If you feel alone and isolated, just keep going. I know that can sound patronizing, but there is hope and for myself that was a really important thing that kept me alive is the hope for something more and the hope for something better and more beautiful.” ~ @jessitattooer
