The Cunning - a beaut short film I had the pleasure of working on last year - has been selected for BAFTA qualifying Aesthetica Film Festival amongst others. It stars the brilliant
@bethanyasheractor & Gemma Arterton.
It was such a pleasure to work with so many true artists on this - watching
@christopher_melgram build an intricate 18th century landscape for our characters to move around in in their costumes crafted to perfection by
@nataliecarolinewilkins with excellent makeup design by
@francescajordan all captured so deftly by
@davidwrightdop who painted through the lens with the mostly natural light that
@tristan_hutchinson so expertly maximised.
Big thank you to all of the amazing crew that came through for us on this one and made it so much fun. Thank you to my angels
@chlsbrnrd &
@franellis1 for making every day on set a joy and extra big thanks to
@jacobhasacamera for pulling off a miracle for me at the last hour.
Lastly a HUGE thank you to the epic directing talent that is
@alex_maher_film for having me help bring your vision to life and to my dear friend
@emoryruegg - the best producer around - for having me. No one I’d rather ride in massive splitter vans with whilst
@simonafrosts gently crashes into cars doing 10 point turns to get us out of small carparks.
Thanks to
@kodemedia for the support always x
