Good luck with your final bidding in the run up to auction close at 8pm BST today! You can watch the auction live from 6pm at: /watch?v=WF9UN-SL_Y8 Please be aware bids will sometimes increase dramatically towards the end of the auction so remember to place a maximum bid in order to increase your chances of winning and avoid disappointment! You can now sort the drawings on the website according to their current bid, with lowest bids at the top, and highest at the bottom. Please note, bids placed within the last 2 minutes of the auction, will extend the bidding for that work for an additional two minutes, or until all bidding has ceased. You can see which drawings have extended bidding after 8pm by clicking the 'Open Bids' button. If you place the winning bid, you will received an email invoice with info on what to do next. You can choose to add framing and shipping to your order. You will not not able to go back and change your order at this stage; if you wish to do so please email biennial@drawingroom.org.uk Wherever possible please pay via bank transfer rather than by card – this will save Drawing Room a 2.5% commission on each transaction. Thank you for supporting Drawing Room.

Today's the final day of Drawing Biennial 2024 and it's your last chance to bid on the incredible works on offer. The auction ends at 8pm BST, (Wed 3rd July) (Please note that if a bid is placed within the last 2 minutes of the auction, the auction end time will extend for an additional two minutes, or until all bidding has ceased. This is called "Popcorn Bidding" or Bidder Extension and gives all bidders an fairer chance of winning.) Bids start at £300 and you are more likely to be the winning bidder if at the outset you place a maximum bid i.e. the maximum amount you are willing to pay for the work. Your maximum bid is not visible to other bidders and the auction site will automatically place bids on your behalf, but only as much as is necessary to make sure that you remain the highest bidder, until it reaches your maximum bid. Explore all the incredible works in the show in person at the gallery and online by following the link in our Instagram bio! #DrawingBiennial2024 #DrawingRoom #drawing #auction #support #artists

Drawing Biennial 2024 in focus: Ali Kazim @ali.kazim.ak We asked artists whose work features in our Drawing Biennial 2024 to make a short recording that explores what they were thinking about when they made their drawing and why drawing is special to them. Find out more about the artists, their works in the Biennial and how you can bid on them and support Drawing Room's activities, by following the link in our Instagram bio. This next video is from Ali Kazim: 'It is fascinating how beliefs change one’s appearance; one gets more aware of one’s own religious identity. The portraits from Man of Faith series and Children of Faith series reflect upon how our beliefs shape our identity, how we choose to make these legible and understood. Often misunderstood.' #DrawingBiennial2024 #DrawingRoom #drawing #auction #support #artists

Our Biennial Spotlights shine a light on some of the incredible works you can bid on in Drawing Biennial 24 picked by art world luminaries. You can learn more about all the Spotlight works and how they can become yours for as little as £300 by visiting the Drawing Biennial website via the link in our Instagram bio. In this next Spotlight post, curator and writer Fatos Ustek writes about her choices: 'I loved Laurence Kavanagh, Jyll Bradley, Nicholas Bryne, Margatita Gluzberg, Laura Gannon’s pieces due to their laborious engagement with the medium and the process of drawing. I thought Jessie Brennan’s work evoked a sense of lightness and enjoyed finding out about the collaborative process the artist followed. I enjoyed the curious nature of Caragh Thuring, Anna Perach and Neil Gall. Last but not least the poetic approaches by Jitish Kallat, Yelena Popover and Juliana Cerqueira Leite; Mamma Anderson’s piece is a journey to a time past.'
