We want to thank you again for your support, that exceeded all expectations for us, as a small independent venue in Amsterdam. After reviewing our numbers, the final amount raised is EUR 18.126,62. The donorbox link is now closed.
This statement in the carousel breaks down our donation strategy, hopefully with the same ethos of transparency, humility, and respect, that we have tried to carry throughout the planning of “City of Flowers” our fundraiser for Gaza.
Due to high demand for more T-shirts, we will print a final batch, with profits also donated. We aim to launch a webshop for these over the course of next week, including the option of shipping. We expect the shirts to be out of production by the end of this month, so all purchases will be on a pre-order basis
Finally, we want to emphasise that we have been overwhelmed by your positive responses, and authentic engagement. We hope to provide another space for community grieving and collective healing in the future. We also want to again thank Echobox Radio and Radio Alhara, as well as the market contributors, volunteers, staff and artists.
