It’s my 38th.
It’s hard to reflect on the year without seeing the last month in a loop. I lost one of my best friends last month. I held his hand as he crossed over. His name is Michael “Moishe” Philip Levy. He was 81 years old.
“Dignity” was the word I heard the most from him. He lived a dignified life, and passed as such. I understand it more than ever now. I want all of us to live with dignity and see each other as dignified beings.
We’re not animals. No matter what the evolutionary chart looks like, we see beyond. We contemplate death, think of god(s), and often make decisions not to survive, but to LIVE.
It’s so important that you make friends with people that don’t think the same as you. This isn’t some Pollyanna “can’t we all just get a long?” cop-out either. This is vital to your growth, it’s been vital to mine. I see so much division and classification of each other. Cut the crap.
To my most dignified Moishe, in your memory, forever. I’ll never be the same, what a blessing. ♥️ Paco
