Just like a blank white canvas, Canada’s costume symbolizes peace and endless opportunities for each Canadian to paint their own unique story.
Canada’s costume is adorned with meticulously crafted crystal beads and tassels, representing the shimmering snow and icicles of Canadian winters, and the sap droplets on tree branches during the maple syrup harvest.
An iconic tree embedded in Canada’s biodiversity and identity, “The Sugar Maple” costume honors Canada’s natural heritage. It embodies Canada’s values and ethos of nurturing others; the same way the Sugar Maple creates microenvironments, supporting a diverse range of flora and fauna.
