In between gigs for a day = back on my tune learning kick. Here’s a little învârtita set with absolutely the wrong chords but I’ll figure them out sometime soon, promise. From Tamás Gombai’s album tízhúros.
Something loud, something quiet. Something dense, something spare. A piece for the angels, and a piece for Caesar. Coming up on Wednesday at @scholesstreetstudio with @amundendixon and @jujuhcello , we are offering up a smorgasbord of works by inti figgis-vizueta, Anna Heflin, Kristofer Svensson, Marcos Balter, Theo Haber, and myself and Adrianne. 😉

Come out this Friday at NOON, yes NOON to hear Eric Wubbels' truly epic viola quartet with the incredible @mktviola , @skviola , and @itslikethatanna ; gorgeous songs by Kate Soper and Celeste Oram with the mellifluous @tomasgotchi , AND solos by Hannah Kendall, Lawrence Dunn, J.P. von Westhoff, and myself. I'm very excited about this program and the amazing musicians I get to play with & would love to see you there! And if you can't come in person, it will be livestreamed - link in bio.
It's going to be a wild ride the next two months! I'm thrilled to be playing so much music I love with so many friends. Come say hi if you're at any of these! Now back to the practice corner 🎻
