Some memories of our Jewellery and Gemmology Awards Ceremony held at George Brown College Waterfront Campus With a magnificent view to the Lake Ontario, it was a pleasure to return to see all the members of our community come together to celebrate the achievements of our students and graduates. Thanks to all the students who trusted on our knowledge and experience, to our dedicated team (technologists, laboratory assistants, professors, administrative assistant), the unconditional support of our Chair Rosa Fracassa, Coordinator Paul Mc Clure - Wing Ki Chan and Dean Luigi Ferarra. Also thank you to our advisory commits members who keep our connection with the industry. Once again, it was a great night filled with positive emotions. We were happy to see everyone come together for a great cause!

✨Samantha’s Thesis✨ “Bees” My designs are based on bees because for some reason they gravitate toward me, lately I’ve been taking it as a sign and decided to expand on the idea for a collection. Bees are a symbol of life, creativity, hardwork, community, success, prosperity, and abundance. My designs are going to show bee-inspired jewelry in a representative way. My intentions are to create amulets so that the wearer gets these benefits and are protected. . . ✨Dayeon’s Thesis✨ “Family Memories” “Family Memories” is about reminiscing memories of family and turning them into wearable tales. There are four colours and three shapes, each representing a family member. Transforming jewellery from being adornment, to a canvas for personal narratives. Through repetition and motifs, each piece becomes an abstract artwork. A subtle reminder of family wherever we go. . .
