Congratulations to the galleries and to my colleagues on Art Basel 2024. This year was truly special, led by Director, Maike Cruse. Unlimited shined, Parcours took on a new profile and the Art Basel Shop was a hit. It was a joy to see the incredible galleries, artists, collectors, and institutions that make this week in Basel the highlight of the art calendar. Until Paris!

2. Messeplatz features a site-specific presentation by conceptual artist Agnes Denes, a pioneer of environmental, ecological, and land art. Honoring Wheatfield - A Confrontation (2024) is referring to Denes’ iconic land art work from the 1980s. The work will remain on the Messeplatz until its harvest. The project is curated by Samuel Leuenberger.
