As we celebrate Independence Day, we want to remind you to use caution on the roadways as it will be very congested going to and from Hollywood Beach.
HPD’s Marine Unit and Beach Unit will be patrolling the Beach, Broadwalk, and waterways to make sure everyone is following the rules to stay safe.
No fireworks are permitted on Hollywood Beach.
When swimming in the water, remain vigilant and swim near a lifeguard.

Choose a meet up point with your kids, and check in to one of our booths that offers wristbands for kids. Today, we remember Detective Jon Cooke, who passed away July 2nd, 2021. Detective Cooke served our community for 23 years. Even when he wasn’t at work, he was serving the residents by assisting combat veterans and mentoring our youth. We will continue to remember his legacy and will never forget the impact he left on our community.
