@duncanmcafee and
@lesley_hilling are co-curating this group exhibition. It’s a show themed around contemporary approaches to collage, presented in a manner that reflects the theme:
‘ Scavengers: a 3D experiment in collage.
Felix H. Wilkinson is an artist’s collective based in South London. Scavengers , curated by Duncan McAfee and Lesley Hilling is an exhibition of nine artists work that explores a range of ideas ideas about collage, from traditional analogue cut and paste, paintings with montaged imagery, to contemporary screen-based or projected image works that explore the possibilities of virtuality and endless copying and pasting.
The exhibition’s physical framework also seems to be twisted, turning inside-out - a spacial distortion playfully attempting the possibilities of the virtual in the physical world.’
