Today is BLM Bandcamp day. If you’re thinking of buying any new music, you should dive into the amazing list of over 1000 black artists, producers and labels with Bandcamp releases, which you can find in our bio.
As you might have seen, we also have a release today. A few weeks ago we came together to create our first compilation, with the intention of giving all profits it to the
@ukqtibipochardshipfund . We’re very happy to hear that the fund has already reached their target and, in the same spirit, we have now decided to donate to
@blackmindsmatter.uk , once the fund is closed in two weeks.
If you want to support the release, you can find the link in our bio.
The music industry and club nights need action to change. We recognise our privilege as a majority white collective, and we vow to do more to diversify the music scene and to support Black artists and Black communities through using our platform, our voice and our actions.
As always, we also want to say that our doors are always open, and if you’re a Black artist who produces or DJs (or would like to start) and are looking for advice, support or an outlet to release your mix or music, we’d love to offer any help we can, so please get in touch.
