As our 2024-25 season is approaching, we welcome new apprentices to the Indianapolis Ballet family. We are excited to introduce you to Grace Mullins! Grace Mullins of Brownsburg, Indiana, started dancing at age four. In 2009, she began training at Indiana University’s Pre-College Ballet Program under the direction of Doricha Sales and Michael Vernon. In 2016, Grace attended Miami City Ballet School where she trained with Arantxa Ochoa, Francis Veyette, and other esteemed faculty members. She accepted an apprentice position with Miami City Ballet in 2017. While in Miami, Mullins performed alongside the company in ballets such as George Balanchine’s The Nutcracker and Walpurgisnacht. In 2018, Grace became a trainee with Boston Ballet School and was then invited to join Boston Ballet II the following year under the direction of Peter Stark. During her time in Boston, Grace performed in Mikko Nissinen’s The Nutcracker, Arthur Saint-Leon’s Oceans and Pearls, and appeared in Boston Ballet School’s Next Generation program as a lead in August Bournonville’s La Conservatorie. Grace recently graduated Summa Cum Laude from Mercyhurst University in May 2024, where she studied dance under C. Noelle Partusch and minored in marketing. Her repertoire with the Mercyhurst University Dance Department includes Justin Hogan’s The Nutcracker, Jennifer McNamara’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream, Sidra Bell’s Savage Birds, and Marius Petipa’s Swan Lake. Grace is excited to join Indianapolis Ballet’s 2024/25 season as an apprentice! Please help us welcome Grace! ENROLL IN CLASSES TODAY // Indianapolis School of Ballet Whether you are interested in enrolling your young dancer in creative movement classes or you have a dancer ready to take their training to the next level, the Indianapolis School of Ballet has what you are looking for. Fall class enrollment for the Young Children’s Program (Creative Movement & Pre-Ballet) is OPEN to current and new students. Pre-Professional Program enrollment for new students will begin Monday, July 8. *To enroll your dancer in ISB’s Young Children’s Program (Creative Movement & Pre-Ballet), please enroll your dancer based on their age as of September 1, 2024. As our 2024-25 season is approaching, we welcome new apprentices to the Indianapolis Ballet family. We are excited to introduce you to Abigail Einterz! Abigail started her ballet training with Village Dance Studio in Zionsville, Indiana. Inspired by her sister Frannie, she continued her professional training under the direction of Victoria Lyras at Indianapolis School of Ballet. She continued through to the Professional Level Program. She then trained for a year at Southold Dance Theatre and then another year in Cincinnati Ballet’s Trainee Program. The past two years she has been at Pacific Northwest Ballet in the Professional Division under the direction of Peter Boal. She has done summer intensives at Indianapolis Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Philadelphia Ballet, Ballet Austin, and Whim W’him Seattle Contemporary Dance. She has performed Balanchine ballet’s such as Serenade, Valse Fantaisie and The Nutcracker and full length ballets including Swan Lake, Coppélia and Paquita. Outside of her time at the studio she loves to sing, bake yummy treats, and spend time with family. She is so excited to be coming back home to Indianapolis Ballet as an apprentice for the 2024-2025 season! Please help us welcome Abigail!
