Today in the Chamber, I shared a message from my constituents to all members.
The people of Israel have the support of Canada, but that does not mean supporting Netanyahu and his regime’s indiscriminate ‘war’ against the people of Palestine.
Canada can be a stronger force for building a better, long-term solution, where the Palestinian people can live in peace, security, and dignity in coexistence with Israelis and all who live in the Middle East.
After 75 years of ongoing violence, don’t they all deserve a better peace?

I started off the day with the Azeemia Spiritual and Healing Centre and the residents of Mississauga Valley with my colleague @peterfonsecamp 😊 What an amazing celebration with their annual cake cutting ceremony, singing of our national anthem, and teaming up for some Canadian trivia!
I was pleased to join the Muslim Women’s Global Network Canada Day Celebration this weekend! We enjoyed a cake cutting ceremony, Bhangra dances, delicious food, and meeting everyone who came out. Thank you for including me in your wonderful celebration 🇨🇦😊
