What do you do when you can’t find the right vintage knit wool knickers for Rihanna? You ask my mom, Patti, naturally. This is exactly what happened back in January. @_lucygaston asked if a pair could be custom made by my mom in a week’s time, and Patti accepted the challenge. Ultimately the sizing wasn’t quite right therefore was not used, but applause for her for doing the nearly-impossible task of working at lightning speed from a difficult vintage pattern and getting it shipped across the country, with truly no time to spare.
