How do you hold it all together when it feels like everything is falling apart?💔 I’ve spent most of the fast few weeks in the hospital with my mom Nina. She adopted me the day after I was born, and has loved me beyond measure my entire life. Not just during the highs that the world celebrates, she’s loved me unconditionally during my lowest lows, every day, since the day she took me home from the Hosptial 44 years ago. She is very very sick right now, and the doctors are saying she won’t get better. They’re saying that all we can do is pray and ask God for more time. And cherish every moment. With permission I’m sharing this with you to ask for your prayers for my mom too 🙏❤️ So today, I decided to play one of her favorite songs by Neil Diamond, Sweet Caroline, and have an impromptu dance party in her Hosptial room. Along with my 85 year old step-dad Dennis, who has loved me also so unconditionally since he came into my life at age 6. At age 6 I was always embarrassed when he would dance. Today, his full commitment to the dance moves is filling the room with a strength and joy I will cherish and celebrate forever. So today, this is how I’m holding it all together. Prayer, dancing to Sweet Caroline and generating as much joy for the moment as we can all muster. “Hands…touching hands…reaching out…touching me, touching you…”🫱🫲 Reach out to the people you love today, if they’re next to you then touch their hands. 🫴We are all love, made of love, from love, by a God who is love, for the soul purpose to love. Also, I love you.❤️

Yep, I seriously went to Homegoods (not an ad, not sponsored) to build a film set in my hotel room to do the LIVE Class with @oprah !!!😳😂💁‍♀️ I figured I built @itcosmetics scrappy and I can do all things that way if needed, 🙌 this week I was at an event I had committed to a long time ago, so that meant that my LIFELONG dream-come-true of teaching alongside OPRAH was gonna happen in a hotel room. And the problem was my hotel room had a ton of bold, loud patterns and didn’t work for filming. So Lia and I headed to Homegoods on a wing and a PRAYER 1 table, 2 candles, 1 lantern, 2 decor boxes, 1 faux tree, 2 Boxwood greenery, 1 vase with branches and 1 Sunrise painting later HERE’S what happened 😃🥰🤩🙌🔨 Also, I was so blessed to have one of my besties @liavalenciakey in town visiting which made this whole homegooods set building adventure even more fun! 🙌💛 And a special thank you to @coachglitter for your amazing advice on the set, tech and lighting as well 🙏❤️
