6/29より、井出賢嗣の展示「coastalline」がpoubelleにて始まります。 Kenji Ide’s solo exhibition “coastalline” at poubelle will start from June 29th. #Repost @poubelle0702 with @use.repost ・・・ . -企画展のお知らせ- “coastalline” Kenji Ide with poubelle @kenjiide @works_kenjiide 会期 6/29(sat)-7/7(sun) *会期中無休 長い言いわけ： 物を作るということは何だろうか。小さいとき幼稚園で見たダンボールの迷路での体験から始まって、夏休みの課題で兄が作った粘土の置き網漁模型、そしてそれらを思い出して大学に入って自ら作った動物園の粘土模型やベニヤで作った海の前のがらんとした模型。それらの感性が薄れた頃に今の妻となる人が作った小さいシャベルが小さな土だまりを掻き出す動く装置、そしてその彼女に連れて行ってもらった西荻窪のお店で見たワニ皮のような板。そのお店で見るものはそれぞれに人の造作に対する奥行きがあった。出自や工程、所以の異なるものたちはそれぞれに見ていて面白かった。数年かけてようやく話せるようになった彼のお店には自分の知っている美術作家の作品もあった。ただその店では美術である以前に何かしらの人の造作物としての輪郭が色濃く見えた。それはアフリカの民族が使っていた木製の錠前と工業的に作られたアルミのスプーンと同じように誰かが作ったものなのだという、そのようなお店の光景を見てそこに広がっているのは物が様々な時間を漂流して流れ着いた海岸線だと僕は思うようになった。いつしか自分の作った物はここに流れ着くだろうか、このような見え方を僕の作った物は帯びるだろうか。その小さな欲望はやがて酒の力を借りて現実的にそれをやってみるという段階にまでなってこの展示のような実験のようなことが生まれました。 店は西荻窪poubelle、店主の矢澤剛さんがこの店に魔法をかけている。幼稚な表現で恥ずかしいけれど僕はそう感じる。彼が選んできた物が並んだ空間に様々な発見をする。彼の調律によって生まれた物が醸す波長に僕は囚われている。本当は彼が所以も特に分からずいつか僕の作った物をどこかで見つけて、何となしにお店に置いておいてくれることが望ましかったと思う。ただ興奮して喋りすぎる僕のような人間にとってはせっかちなこの方法に落ち着くこととなった。せめてもの抗いとして、あくまでここに並ぶ物は僕が作って持ってきたものから矢澤さんがもしピンとくれば並べる、ということにしてもらった。なのでもしかすると僕の作った物は何も並んでいないかもしれない。あくまでそれは僕が選べることではない。或いは儀礼的に並んだものは普段のお店を知る人からは不恰好な違和感になるかもしれない、或いは僕の物が何でもないことが判明するかもしれない。この僕の態度はまた一方で、様々な分野的な壁に対する懐疑を表明するものでもある。一般的に様々な分野的に細分化された物は謳われ方やフレーム、パッケージに囲われているために立派に見えるようになっている、ただその一方でそのために損なっている部分もある。その中にあって彼の作るpoubelleというフレームは、複層的な視点から生まれた物へのestheticを提示していてそれで或いは物が普段よりちゃんと見えるかもしれない。だから実はちょっと怖い、けれどそんな彼とこんなことをやってみようと思う。 (井出賢嗣)

Opening Reception: June 29, 5-7pm この度、KAYOKOYUKIでは、松下和暉の2回目となる個展「Intoxication view」を開催いたします。 松下は、テキストあるいは詩の中にある物理的な側面に注目し、それをさらに検証するための媒体として絵画があると捉えています。彼は作品制作の中で言葉やフレーズを集め、文字を並べ替えてアナグラムを作り出します。彼のキャンバスはこれらの言葉の延長として機能し、色、形、間隔、ストロークを通して言葉の再定義が抽象的に表現されます。キャンバス上のモチーフが言葉そのものであるかのように、白いスペースは言葉の間の沈黙として響き、詩の本質を呼び起こします。この両者の間接的な対話、つまり彼の私的なノートと広大なキャンバス、あるいはタイトルとモチーフにおける親密な相互作用は、言語と視覚芸術の間に雄弁な緊張感をもたらし、作品の中でユニークに交錯します。 KAYOKOYUKI is pleased to announce Intoxication view, Kazuki Matsushita’s second exhibition with the gallery. Matsushita focuses on the physical aspects within texts or poetry and views painting as a medium for further examining these elements. Throughout his practice, he collects words and phrases, and creates anagrams by rearranging the letters. His canvas acts as an extension of these poems, where his redefinition of words is abstractly expressed through colors, forms, gaps, and strokes. The white spaces on the canvas function as the gaps between the words and stanzas of a poem. Almost as if the motifs on the canvas are words itself, the white areas resonate as the blank silent spaces between words in a poem, evoking the essence of a verse. This indirect dialogue, an intimate reciprocity between his private notebook and the expansive canvas, between title and motif, creates a unique interplay, bestowing each piece with an eloquent tension between language and visual art. closed on Mon. この度6月25日（火）よりCADAN有楽町にて、利部志穂（かがぶ・しほ）による個展「言霊のさきわう地 −天照、へリオス、カーネの夢」を開催いたします。 また同会期にて、池崎拓也「シーマップ：レシーブアンドリリース」by Satoko Oe Contemporary、ズザナ・バルトシェック「Show Room」curated by Tenko Presents in association with KAYOKOYUKIを開催いたします。 利部は、壊れた拾得物や、建築資材など、様々なモノを使用して彫刻作品を制作しています。作品においては、それらのモノが有する日常的な意味や機能は解体され、組み合わされることによって新たな関係性が形成され、空間の中に置かれていきます。「人間が定義したルールは疑うけれど、地球的・宇宙的なルールを信じる」と言う利部は、モノに近づき、モノが発する声を聞きながら、その一部となって、自然の摂理とも言える生成や循環を展示空間に構築します。 We are pleased to announce that from June 25th, we will be holding an exhibition titled The Blessed Land of "Kotodama (言霊)"ーThe dream of Amaterasu, Helios and Kāne by Shiho Kagabu at CADAN YURAKUCHO. Kagabu uses various objects such as broken found items and construction materials to create sculptural works. In her works, the everyday meanings and functions of these objects are dismantled, and through their combination, new relationships are formed and placed within the space. Kagabu, who says, "I doubt the rules defined by humans, but I believe in the earthly and cosmic rules," approaches objects, listens to the voices they emit, and becomes part of them, constructing the principles of creation and circulation, which can be called the laws of nature, within the exhibition space. Come have a look and share a drink with us tonight from 17.00 - 20.00 hrs 🥂💫 Upstream Gallery is proud to present the exhibition Wanderer by Daichi Takagi in the gallery’s private viewing space, opening during Amsterdam Art Week 2024. Takagi is an artist based in Kanagawa, Japan. His work often explores the interplay between abstract and figurative painting. When Takagi spent some time in the Netherlands in 2018, his work took a shift when he started working more intuitively. His abstract geometric work gave way to more recognisable motifs. Moreover, he became more aware of his Japanese heritage within a Western cultural context, resulting in a dialogue between Eastern and Western aesthetic influences in his current work. Wanderer showcases some of Takagi’s most recent landscape paintings. These mystical, moonlit atmospheres depict a solitary figure amidst the overwhelming nature. In the contemplative paintings, the artist explores both inner and outer worlds and the relationship between them. The works are in line with painterly traditions such as Romanticism, and at the same time, the influence of Japanese Ukiyo-e and ink painting is also evident.
