“ A Maze of Power” opens tonight in Senegal!!!!
The Musée des Civilisations Noires in Dakar welcomes the exhibition “Kehinde Wiley – Maze of Power” originally organized by Musée du Quai Branly – Jacques Chirac. The exhibition is composed of a series of 11 portraits of African heads of state – an exploratory and ongoing project around the representation of power on which the painter has been working confidentially since 2012.
Le Musée des Civilisations Noires de Dakar accueille l’exposition « Kehinde Wiley – Dédale du pouvoir » initialement organisée par le Musée du Quai Branly – Jacques Chirac. L’exposition est consacrée à une série de onze portraits de chefs d’État africains – un projet exploratoire, toujours en cours, autour de la représentation du pouvoir, sur lequel le peintre a travaillé de façon confidentielle depuis 2012.
