We had a great and ice cream sweet celebration of Canada Day this past long weekend!
It was a pleasure to reconnect again with so many people throughout Etobicoke Centre and I'm looking forward to seeing all of you very soon!
Happy Canada Day!
As our annual tradition, we celebrated the birthday of our beautiful country with some ice cream in Etobicoke Centre.
It was great to reconnect and share this beautiful day with many of my constituents.
This week Infrastructure Ontario released its latest Market Update which lists critical infrastructure projects across the province, like highways, transit and hospitals.
This Market Update includes 25 major infrastructure projects in pre- and active procurement at an estimated value of over $30 billion.
These projects are part of our government’s historic plan to invest over $190 billion in our public infrastructure over the next 10 years.
Congratulations to Kipling Collegiate Institute 2024 Class! May this new chapter of your life be full of new journeys and discoveries and may you never give up on your dreams!
Earlier this month, we celebrated the 100th Birthday of my constituent @secretagentjackww2 , the World War 2 veteran and Holocaust Survivor.
I would like to thank again Jack and his family for sharing his amazing story and we should continue learning from our history to make sure the mistakes of the past are not repeated.
The western underground portion of the Eglinton Crosstown West Extension tunnelling has been completed!
It's a huge achievement for Etobicoke!
Etobicoke residents are getting one step closer to having underground rapid transit right on Eglinton ave, which will save commuters time, help reduce congestion and ensure greater public transportation connectivity to the rest of Toronto and Mississauga.
Yesterday I attended the inaugural Ontario Police Service Memorial (OPSM) ceremony to commemorate the police officers who lost their lives to suicide. Our first responders go though a lot in the line of duty. This is why it is very important to seek professional help when needed.
I cannot even fathom what the families who lost a loved one go through.
The government of Ontario stands behind our police and we will continue working together to help address mental health challenges and remove any associated stigma.
Let's celebrate Canada Day together with some ice cream! 🍦🇨🇦 🎇
Come for a complimentary ice cream I will be serving on Canada Day at :

Earlier this week, @fordnationdougford and I met with internet service providers to discuss how we can continue working together and reduce delays in achieving our goal of making high-speed internet accessible in every community by the end of 2025. By increasing access to high-speed internet, we’re building a stronger, more resilient Ontario!
Canada Day is coming!
Let’s celebrate together!
