🏳️⚧️ It is a scary time to be a a queer person in Florida, but now is the time to SPEAK UP and SHOW UP and protect those most vulnerable! #TRANSLIVESMATTER
Thank you to @wynwoodpride@pamm and @iiipoints for granting me the space to speak about such an important issue. However, I hope that when “PRIDE MONTH” is over me and other trans poc continue to be remembered and to be given the space to continue to talk about how truly scary it is to live in the world simply as the people we are and to have the opportunity to share and advocate for our lived experience.
Pride is more than a single month, it is a constant battle.
Allies now is the time to SHOW UP!

If only I could teleport back in time and show my younger self this…
Representation matters!
Trans people in the media matters!
Queer people representing themselves and telling their own personal stories matters!
Black, trans lives matter!
Being featured in @vogueitalia is a dream come true that I never knew I had.
Thank you to @camilafalquez for making this dream happen!
Our wedding was the happiest day of my life 💕
Next week is our 5 year anniversary and I couldn’t imagine anyone else I’d have rather spent these last years and the years to come with 💕
Thank you for always being my best friend and my greatest supporter 💕
May the rest of our life together always be filled with smiles like these 💕

🥀🌼This piece means a lot to me, so thought I’d post a longer version of it 🥀🌻🥀
Trying to get in the habit of claiming and taking pride in my artistry more and getting out of the habit of shrinking myself and my art down to smaller bite size pieces.
The baggage I carry with me, but the beauty and relief in opening up to others 🌸🌺🌻
This is one of my favorite and most healing and vulnerable performances to perform.
The baggage I carry may often feel heavy, but through opening up to others, I feel just a little bit lighter
Thank you to @calltoaction.mia for having me!
