Luke Newton is in his leading man era.
The 31-year-old actor plays Colin in #Bridgerton , Netflix’s hit historical romance following the courtship of a different Bridgerton family member throughout each season’s eight episodes.
While Colin is highlighted in the series's fourth book, Newton was cast into the spotlight one round early for the show, starring opposite Nicola Coughlan’s Penelope. A character glow-up motivated Newton to change up his fitness game—you’ll notice tighter shirts and some inherent swag coming through—although he says he was ready for some personal lifestyle tweaks, “regardless of what the story was going to be.”
Not only is it working (clearly), but it’s caught the attention of the 45 million viewers glued to their screens at home.
