I’ve been experimenting with texture, and these cups are some of the first results! The second one has subtle purple stripes which remind me of a record (I have never actually held a record so take this with a grain of salt).

This bowl started out as an experiment to try and emulate Monet’s later paintings in celadon. Now, looking at the photos, I’m struck by the way the colors disguise the bowl’s depth. Bonus black and white pic because it looks like the moon :)

I thought this pot was a goner before it went through the glaze kiln. Turns out Ancient Jasper can cover a multitude of sins.

This vase is one of my favorite pieces to come out of the kiln so far! The red clay is super easy to burnish and I’m having a great time experimenting with it.
