Universal Ballet Competition was a success! All of our dancers and ensembles qualified for Grand Finals with our ensembles placing 1st and 2nd!
I am beyond proud of all our students and their hard work. I am extremely thankful for my husband Mike, Angela, and Bethany for their coaching and choreography as well- it takes a village. An unexpected surprise - I ran into my ballet teacher from my childhood. If you have ever heard my dance journey you know this wonderful women re-trained me and my sister and made us the dancers and teachers we are today.

Wow @innovativedanceinc Recital 2023 was amazing! We were in a new venue and we had a new Recital structure and I was performing on stage for the first time since 2015!!
It turned out to be a fantastic celebration of dance with our IDI family. I am so thankful to have had my partner in life @mike_idi by my side. I am also thankful for our entire Faculty. We are so blessed by this team of amazing people!
Happy Father’s Day to my own dad. Thank you for all your sacrifices as we were growing up. It was those sacrifices that made so much of our success possible. ❤️
Universal Ballet Competition Grand Finals was a whirlwind. I am beyond proud that our small school had 5 solos and 2 ensembles invited to compete here. I’m humbled that both of our ensembles were awarded top placements and our youngest soloist received 13th overall for her contemporary solo performance. It was a hard trip without my hubby, @mike_idi , who stayed back to take care of our princess Tutu and the studio but am grateful that my parents drove down to be with me. I’m also very thankful that I was able to see @maciemurphree while I was here.
