Wow. I can’t believe it was only 6 years ago that I ran my first marathon at @grandmasmarathon 🏃🏻♀️ . It feels like a lifetime ago. Since then, I have run 8 more marathons (@bostonmarathon x 3, @runcim262 x 3, @chimarathon , @londonmarathon ) and dropped my personal best from 3 hours and 9 minutes to 2 hours and 44 minutes!!!! This race was truly just the start of a beautiful adventure...that I have loved every minute of!
And Mark’s support of me, my daily efforts, and big goals (that keep getting bigger), hasn’t wavered one bit! Still keeps this train running every single day, and then some!
A huge thank you to Dr. David Rudnick and his team at the Chiropractic & Sports Rehabilitation Institute in Boynton Beach for ALWAYS taking care of me and my body! The London Marathon last month was #9 for us and there is no one I trust more with getting me ready, and keeping me in tip top form!
There’s a reason I keep getting faster with age and one of the big things is my consistent body upkeep. That includes 9+ hours of sleep a night, regular massages, and shockwave / dry needling treatment anytime I feel a niggle here or there. My advice: don’t wait until it becomes an injury or real issue; work through that soreness / ache right away! Even if that sometimes requires substituting a run with a spots chiro appointment ;)
Thank you David for everything!
(Just for fun, sharing some of our past pre and post race check-ins from throughout the years!!)

🇬🇧 What a day!! Finished the @londonmarathon in 2:44:57!!! An 87 second personal best to finally go sub 2:45!!! I have wanted this for so long, and worked so hard for it. I can’t tell you how good it feels!!!
Cherry on top: 🏃🏻♀️ 17th overall female in the mass start! 33rd overall female when you include Elite Women. And first female finisher from the USA!!! 🇺🇸
The day couldn’t have been any more special! Thank you @markpb34 for being the best sherpa in the game; my dad @russperlman for traveling to London to cheer me on; @katiemccartney9 for being there at the finish; and @lauren_perschetz (and parents) for making an international marathon feel like home!
And shout out to the best marathon coach in the game, @leahdanarosenfeld , for giving me the tools to make it all happen!

Arrived and ready!!! I’ve heard amazing things about the @londonmarathon 🇬🇧 and I can’t wait to try my hand!!!
Training has truly been a joy this buildup!! I’ve enjoyed my 70+ mile weeks, Sunday morning long runs with friends, and hard workouts probably more than ever before! 🏃🏻♀️
I will start the race tomorrow (Sunday, April 21) at 10:01 am London Time. Feel free to track me on the TCS London App (if you’re an early bird)! My goal is to give it my all, have a ton of fun, remember to smile (especially at all the costumed people), and run a wicked fast personal best!!! 🔥
Wish me luck!!!
