We had a fabulous morning full of wellness at our last Mom Strong event 💪🏼presented by @uhealthjacksonchildrenscare 🧘🏼‍♀️ @the.one.tribe welcomed us to their gorgeous location for a mat Pilates class 😋 Afterward, we got to sample treats from @cookin.genie - a personal chef service. The chef prepared a delicious Potato Dill Salad as well as a Healthy Oat Brownie. 👩🏼‍⚕️Our expert panelist Dr. Rocio Garcia, a certified dietitian from @jacksonhealth , talked about the importance of mindful eating. @madetobemessy_ provided childcare so the moms can enjoy the event while the kids did a sensory class with water colors ☕️ One lucky attendee won a year of free @cafelallave 🛍️ and all participants got a goodie bag from @jacksonhealth We have a lot more fun events coming up. Here are some best places to watch fireworks in Miami this 4th of July 🇺🇸 🎆! 1️⃣ America’s Birthday Bash in Bayfront Park starts at 4 pm with food trucks, vendors, live music, and kid’s area. The fireworks will start at 9 pm. 2️⃣ Trump National Doral will host its annual Independence Day firework show at 6 pm. 3️⃣ MISO 4th of July Celebration at Peacock Park Music from the Miami Symphony Orchestra and an amazing drone show. This is a free event for the public starting at 7:30 pm. 4️⃣ Miami Beach Fourth of July Fireworks Head on to North Beach near 73rd Street and Collins Ave, where there is a family zone filled with food trucks, live music, outdoor disco, magic show and circus acts.  The fireworks start at 9 PM during a live orchestral concert. 5️⃣ Key Biscayne 4th of July Parade The parade starts at 11 am sharp and ends around 1 pm. You can enjoy a BBQ in the Village Green and later head over to the Ritz-Carlton and enjoy their Firework show. 6️⃣ Town of Cutler Bay Fourth of July Celebration begins at 9 am with their parade. This is followed by a town picnic at Whispering Pines Park until noon. The picnic includes inflatables, snow cones, face painting, music, arts and crafts, and more. 7️⃣ Race to the 4th in Homestead This annual event takes place from 6-10 pm at the Homestead-Miami Speedway. Admission is free and will include live music and entertainment, food trucks, vendors and children’s rides! Fireworks will begin at sunset. 8️⃣ Milander Park in Hialeah There will be food trucks and family friendly entertainment. Located at Milander Park, this event begins at 4 pm and runs till 11 pm. 9️⃣ Ruth Bryan Owen Waterway Park This is a sensory friendly event that begins at 7 pm. Families can enjoy the fireworks display from the Biltmore. Did you know that @BaptistHealthSF is currently offering school and sports physicals for only $25 at Urgent Care Express? 🍍 Last week I took my son to the Baptist Health Urgent Care Express in Palmetto Bay for a walk-in visit. The check-in process was extremely easy and efficient. He was seen very quickly and treated with the greatest care. First, they checked his weight and height. Then they performed a vision test and took his blood pressure. Then, the doctor checked his eyes and ears and listened to his heart. She also listened to any concerns. For an extra $50, they can perform an EKG. ♥️ The whole process was very quick and efficient. We were able to walk out of there in no time with all the school forms needed in our hands. It has come to our attention that the internet is quite divided over this topic 😉 While there are a lot of people who say that bathing 🚿 their kids after swimming in a pool is an absolute must, there are others who consider them clean after swimming in a pool 🏊.
