For decades, the Capitol Theatre and Chatham-Kent Museum have showcased the stories and artifacts that helped shape Chatham-Kent’s history. Serving as valued cultural resources for the local community and visitors alike.
ICYMI, last week, I joined @DreamLegacyFDN , one of over 40 community organizations benefiting from our government’s $16.5M investment into the Black Youth Action Plan.
This investment will help empower communities and ensure organizations like Dream Legacy have the capacity to provide even more youth and young professionals with access to the training, guidance, and mentorship needed to launch careers and maximize potential.

In February, I was proud to announce a new investment of $16.5M into the Black Youth Action Plan (BYAP).
Today, I visited @DreamLegacyFDN , one of over 40 community organizations who recently signed funding agreements which will increase capacity, helping more Black youth unlock opportunities and develop the skills needed to launch meaningful careers in high-demand sectors.
I’ve seen time and again how Uncle Rob’s legacy of putting people first has had a lasting impact on Torontonians and Canadians.
The recent dedication of the Rob Ford Stadium at Etobicoke’s Centennial Park is a fitting tribute to his legacy and I am grateful to those who helped make this a reality.
I was pleased to join the Consul General of the Philippines in Toronto to celebrate 126 years of Philippine Independence.
