☕ Victorian girl summer > hot girl summer Shop essentials for languishing on a chaise longue, penning a mysterious missive, and spilling the tea in the “Arresting Beauty: Julia Margaret Cameron” pop-up shop. Located just outside the exhibition entrance on the lower level, the special shop features stationery, games, apparel, home goods, and more inspired by the influential 19th-century photographer Julia Margaret Cameron. Known for her close-up, soft-focus photographs, Cameron captured portraits of transcendent beauty that depict family and friends; contemporary scientists, scholars, and artists; and scenes staging allegorical, biblical, historical, and literary stories. Let's embrace the first day of summer with Idris Khan's tribute to the seasons. 🌞🌿 Take a closer look at these summer-inspired watercolors from “The Seasons Turn,” a 28-piece cycle Khan created while living in the countryside during the pandemic. Amid the anxiety and uncertainty of that time, Khan turned to nature, observing the landscape change and creating this artwork in response to the colors and forms he witnessed. @idriskhan_studio #FirstDayofSummer #SummerSolstice
