RIP Allie P.
My sweet baby girl crossed over the 🌈 bridge yesterday. She was 16 years old.
When Ashlinn and I adopted her 11 years ago, she was so shy she wouldn’t come out from behind the furniture. Over time, she blossomed into a true boss and used her voice accordingly. She would challenge dogs 20 x her size and barked so hard that her front two paws would lift off the ground.
She was, at times, mistaken for a cat, rabbit, and squirrel. We’d hear, “Is that a dog?” often.
To all the friends, family, babysitters, and admirers, thank you for being part of her life.
Allie P definitely made me a better person. Thanks Al! I’m sure that I’m see you again.

Rest in Power, Honey Bear
After a short illness, our beloved Brussel Griffon died peacefully at home yesterday. She was 15.5 years old. She was a former showgirl, an international champion, a mother, and a rascal. She was smart as a whip, sometimes aloof, didn’t always listen, was an unabashed alfa, would body check dogs 4 x her size, traveled well, was curious, and in her younger days, loved to forage through the kitchen trash for snacks.
She is survived by her sister Allie P, three moms, and a load of loving relatives and friends near and far. We loved her so and are heartbroken. Thank you for loving her and thank you Honey Bear for gracing us with your life. ❤️

The season of sand tracked into the house approaches! Order new sun screen, fix the bikes, buy beach passes, check the umbrella and beach chairs, prepare for bonfires in Asbury and music at the Stone Pony. And mini-golf in Bradley. Don’t forget the mini-golf!
We jumped down to Goa for a couple nights before heading back to the good ole US of A. Yes, that is a picture of a cow on the beach. Beef eaters are out of luck in India. Even Big Macs are made with chicken or a veggie patty. #holycow
