Out now — Richard Cameron-Wolfe: Passionate Geometries; Bandcamp link in bio! Eight chamber works written over a thirty year period, featuring performances by cellist @calebvanderswaagh , sopranos @col0ratura & @pleasure_is_the_law , pianist Gayle Blankenburg, @robertaflutes , saxophonist @geofflandman , and guitarists Marc Wolf, @danlippel , @orenfader , @jay_sorce , & Matthew Slotkin Through exploration of dramatic and narrative subtlety in his micro-operas and text settings, expressive shadings of pitch in his use of microtonality, and finely etched treatment of timbre and gesture, Cameron-Wolfe reaches for the ineffable, something embedded in what we’ve “lost” or perhaps an essence of something that we can never possess Throughout these chamber works, written over a thirty year period, we hear him calibrating his expression towards the mystery that lives between and beyond the sounds, obscuring the transparent surface in favor of the ambiguities of creative uncertainty

Out now — @scott.wollschleger : Between Breath; Bandcamp link in bio! Four works for different duo and solo combinations that are presented as a multi-movement complete work, featuring performances by @mirandacmusic , @andplayduo , @lucydhegrae , Anne Rainwater, @williamkeatslang , and @nathaniellanasa Scott Wollschleger’s music is full of glitchy sounds that are evocative of the sonic tapestry that has populated our mechanical and tech saturated age. Wollschleger infuses these sounds with a wide range of expression, humanizing them with everything from tender to humorous affects, and mining micro-gestures and their variants for expressive impact that seeps into our musical consciousness

Out now — @orlandojgarcia9 : la vida que vendrá; Bandcamp link in bio! Cuban-American composer Orlando Jacinto García releases la vida que vendrá features four electro-acoustic solo works culminating in an ensemble work for the prolific @loadbangensemble On la vida que vendrá, Orlando Jacinto García draws our attention inward in various ways. His careful attention to the full envelope of pitches focuses on attacks, durations, and endings, honoring each detail as a discrete musical event Despite using pre-composed fixed media throughout these electro-acoustic works, García manages to create the illusion of a dynamic, evolving relationship between live performer and electronic sounds. Altogether, this is music that transforms the listening space, creating a halo of sound in each piece
