Currents 11 🔥 In the next months, Harriet Middleton Baker, Michał Grzegorzek, Nadim Choufi and Lucas Odahara, the curatorial team of Currents 11, will be visiting graduation shows at the art universities and academies in the region.
“In this moment when students are demonstrating to have educational systems reflect their political stance, their work becomes an important starting point to listen, question and act from. We are very much looking forward to the exhibition, opening September 21st.”
💥 Currents 11 will be on show from Sep 21st through Nov 3rd, 2024, at Marres and is a collab with Jester, Genk.

Currents 11 🔥 In de komende maanden zullen Harriet Middleton Baker, Michał Grzegorzek, Nadim Choufi en Lucas Odahara, het curatorenteam van Currents 11, de graduation shows bezoeken van de kunstacademies en universiteiten in de regio.
‘In deze tijd waarin studenten demonstreren dat onderwijssystemen hun politieke standpunt moeten weerspiegelen, wordt hun werk een belangrijk uitgangspunt om naar te luisteren, vragen te stellen en actie te ondernemen. We kijken erg uit naar de tentoonstelling, die 21 september opent.’
