Producing for 13 years now, Dj'ing for about 9 years, pushing extreme dark/ Post industrial music under my alias ''Atilla the Hvn'', creating this new alias called ''Okitap'', i wrote it all down before i did it.
It took me many years to imagine and realise alot of things along this crazy road, everytime i think ''I got it now'', it keeps on expanding, the hypetrain dj's and producers who lost so many creativity, so many people hop on it.
Even tho i look solid in some people's eyes, i have my insecurities because of all of this.
I have many inspirational friends around me, always pushing me to stay real to my sound, to my passion, to my own story, to who the hell i say i am.
Really tired of all this weird ''Techno'' label that i got after doing a few good Dj shows, im kinda done with it, putting labels on everything is the new way to put artists aside in my opinion.
I'm done doing Dj shows, from this day on its only Okitap (Live), my own sound, my own music, 100% me.
Working with a Mic is becoming more and more comfortable for me, also trying to figure out how to have more hands during my live shows (Haha), we'll get there.
I did my first Live show (with vocals) during my ADE show at
@melkwegelectronic , it was just a small fraction of what i am capable of, a pretty interesting learning curve has appeared to me since that moment.
Really looking forward to do less shows, but only important ones, ones that i really fuck with, and i only want to get booked for my sound, not just a filler dj on the lineup.
Hope i dont offend people with this, if i do, i'm sorry in advance.
Not looking to create ruckus or anything, just want to stay honest to people who care, and most importantly, to myself.
Love,
Atilla / Okitap
❤️
