I’m excited to pair up again with metaphysical maestro Malzof this Sunday for a sort of a/v dj set alongside Cherriel’s live electroclash hybrid set within the Sweet Abyss at Bantha Tea Bar in PGH.
Sweet Abyss is an event to center trans/queer folks playing a wide variety of fun, strange, rhythmic sounds to dance or move their minds to. Gay, Psychedelic, Vibes, & more!

Thank you to @__.dawat.__ for an amazing water-themed dinner and guests + Lyla the cat for interacting with this a/v network I put together. Participants could grab objects (dragons) that would change the scenes of generative music and visuals depending on which part of the sketch they landed on, also bringing their hands closer to the webcam made water ripple. Ty @blankensmithing@domisjustanumber and @mickeyvanolst for their open sourced components that allowed this to happen.
It pains me to think that the >1.4 million people stuck in R@f@h are facing a huge m@$$@cre on top of the many m@$$@cres and $tarvation they have already faced. There’s no where for them to go where they can be safe and fed - yet Isn’tre@l plans a ground inv@sion . If it wasn’t apparent already from the immense amount of grue$ome footage of 💀civilians, this is pure evil.
Things feel hopeless and terrible, but there is still so much we can do to honor the martyrs - if you haven’t participated yet or are afraid of repercussions because of it - remember that the oppressive imperialist acts that are being forced upon the 🍉 people can happen to you. We cannot be free until they are free.

I'm organizing a live electronics show entitled Oto (sound) Synthesis, featuring a live set from NYC-based Fana' (@fana.____ ), a hybrid set showcasing my new release, and a generative performance by Weather Citizen (@weathercitizen ). The show takes place at Periodicals (@periodicals__shop ), a magazine shop, and is part of Imbolc, a reclamation of a Gaelic holiday organized by Daniel Sharp (@dshrp ). The idea behind the holiday is to celebrate the beginning of spring with art, music, and poetry. Daniel wishes this to be an impetus to utilize the many unused areas within the city of Detroit as places to show and do artistic things. You can read more on their insta.
